Online activity on www.visitgeorgetowncountysc.com continued strong in April. The campaigns generated 5753219 impressions and 30000 clicks. The impressions were up because two emails went out, one April 1 and the other April 14. Each mailing went to approximately 119000 consumers. Annette Fisher, president of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, said the Hammock Coast theme is in a tongue-in-cheek style advertising campaign. It includes a new logo, print and online advertising, social media, public relations efforts and bumper stickers, she said. The new www.HammockCoastSC.com website calls attention to the areas undiscovered charm, laid-back atmosphere and spectacular outdoor attractions. Fisher said the print and online advertisements focus on the theme, Please dont come to Hammock Coast. This is a playful reflection of our reputation as a sought-after vacation destination
